The Garbage Man
Jesus wants us to bring our garbage to the curb. Some are
so weighted down it is hard to lift the burden even for the time it takes
to surrender it to God. While others do not want to let their garbage go.
They hang on to it until their lives become a mess. Jesus does not mind
the demeaning job of getting rid of the garbage. He longs for us to come
to Him just as we are and He will lift the junk of our lives off of us and
make us clean and whole. There are always those like the crows who pick at
the garbage of others. Never mind them. The garbage man does a thorough
job of transforming us into His likeness. All we need to do is let Him.
